The problem

Reading across neuroscience + ML means jumping between derivations, code, and prose. Existing tools optimize for one — I wanted a small system that respects all three.

What it does

  • Local Markdown notes with paper metadata, backlinks, and inline LaTeX
  • Reading threads: chains of notes I can pin to a question and return to
  • Optional export to Anki so recall stays part of the loop

Status

Used daily. Slow to add features on purpose.
